Military exoskeleton prototype

Voltron in our generation! Do you suppose several soldiers will be able to link up to form UltraJoe? All kidding aside, this is ridiculously cool. UC Berkeley is working on a prototype exoskeleton for DARPA. Right now they've gotten as far as a pair of mechanized legs which use an engine to pressurize hydraulic pistons. The whole system will coordinate it's movements to those of the wearer. This sounds a bit like the mechanics of the Segway, but that's just me talking. I can't wait to see the finished product - hopefully not storming down my street waving a foreign flag and laying claim to my wife.
