Apple Announcement Blow-by-Blow

Engadget had great up-to-the-minute coverage of the Apple product announcement today. Live blogging is amazing. So, what was the big announcement? Well, the Mac mini has gone Intel. Now it's four times faster while remaining the same size. After much speculation and anticipation, Apple has also added Front Row and streaming (calling it Bonjour) to the little dynamo. Now you'll be able to use this compact form factor computer as a home media center complete with wireless streaming from other machines on your network. Very cool. The other big announcement was the introduction of the iPod Hi-Fi. Here's what Apple has to say about it:

Say goodbye to the bulky expensive stereo and wall of CDs. iPod Hi-Fi puts out such natural, room-filling sound with clear stereo separation that you'd think you were listening to a multi-speaker setup. But no, it's a single, gorgeous unit that can fit almost any bookshelf, tabletop, or entertainment center.
Looks like the true video iPod (not the iPod with video) and iTunes Movie Store rumors live to fight another day. Hey, isn't Apple's 30th anniversary coming up soon?
